Sisterhood of Love and Devotion

Hare Krishna,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to merciful Srila Prabhupada!

This past Saturday the ladies once again in great excitement took the lead in the morning program:

Guru-astakam prayers was led by Syamarani dasi,
Nrsingadev prayers by Saridiya Rasa dasi,
Mother Vishaka performed the Tulasi Aarti while Sitala dasi led the Tulasi prayers,
Saridiya Rasa dasi performed the Guru Puja while Syamarani dasi led the Guru Puja prayers.

Ganga Priya dasi gave an inspiring class on how to become a paramahamsa. Most fittingly, Ganga Priya spoke from the Teaching of Queen Kunti where His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada describes the difference between an ordinary woman and a woman who is a devotee of Krishna.

The truth is that anyone can become a paramahamsa (swan-like) devotee, all that is required is “sincerity of purpose” this sincerity takes the form of steady service to Lord Krishna. Haribol!

Saridiya Rasa assisted by Aarti, Aarti’s mum and Mother Vishaka prepared a most sumptuous ekadasi feast that had the devotees requesting Saridiya to cook for them everyday :o)

Leaving you with these words of Lord Krishna, we will meet again next month, 28 June 08. Be sure to join us!
